 2'nd Floor Executive -- August

    2'nd floor executive suite is a beautiful place, exactly what we were looking for.  We enjoyed the luxuries of our room & the privacy.  This is by far the best kept secret along the east coast.

    The beach was totally ours & absolutely gorgeous.  We've never been on such a clean beach before, our shell collection grew all week.  We even got to experience mother nature, it was so exciting to watch an enormous mother sea turtle make her way up the beach, nest, & give berth!   You guys were always so helpful w/ all my questions & appreciate the great communication.

     We will definitely be back.

     Wow!  Words fall short for us Zwengers as we bring this incredible week of sun, bogey boarding, swimming and cruising A1A between here and Ft. Pierce for our next home too.   To an end, your beach "penthouse" here has been the perfect refuge for our 20th anniversary celebration! 

     Thanks George & Juanita!!   Your attention to detail is muchly appreciated!  Thanks for the Woolite under sink!  The neck massager was fun too!  Keep your eyes lifted!

    First time in this house but have been coming to Indialantic for 10+ years.

    House feels & looks homey -- not at all like a rental apartment!  (Good thing!)  Wish there had been dish towels or working dishwasher - but other than that, great place!

     The TV's are very nice!  I LOVE, the island in the kitchen & the marble floors.

     The bed's a little hard to get out of even at 40 ... but while in it, it is very comfy.

    Nice liners & towels, & plenty of closet space.

 1'st Floor Executive -- July

    This is our third visit to the Melbourne Beach House and found it to be the best yet -- what a transformation.  You have masterfully repaired & improved this lovely place -- our accommodations during our previous visits were lovely -- but we were delightfully surprised to turn in the drive late on the evening of the 5'th to see the beautiful landscaping and the well appointed interior.   Entering the suite we were truly impressed.

    The view is magnificent -- the privacy wonderful.   I love to cook & having such a well equipped  & & designed kitchen was a dream.   The tile, the granite the furniture are tasteful and create a comfortable & causal atmosphere.  The water bed proved to be a little too low for our retiring, 60 year old bodies but the terrific hot tub proved to be the perfect & romantic cure.  All in all our visit was wonderful.  The suite was wonderful and we will return.

     Well as always, escaping our frantic pace in life leaves us refreshed and saddened in some ways.  Must return to the world and responsibility, yet know that this is the way things roll in most of our lives. I plan to return to Florida every 6 months to scout different areas to live -- keeps the spirit fresh. 

    Melbourne Beach House is a relaxing escape from the tourist areas at Florida.   Wonderful beaches and relaxing and peaceful environment.  Hopefully we'll be in this area permanently .

    Had a wonderful time here,  Going for long walks at first light, looking for turtles and watching the beautiful sunrises.   Loved watching the pelicans skimming the water -- and above all the unspoilt almost empty beaches.

    The apartment has stunning views and it's just perfect lying in bed listening to the waves at night or sitting on the deck in the afternoon watching them roll in.

    Thank you George and Juanita for making us feel so much at home.  We enjoyed the chats.  Look forward to seeing the 'mature' gardens next time.  Maybe next time we can stay longer too!

    George & Juanita -- what a beautiful home!  We loved our time here and can't wait to return next year. 

    The beach was fantastic for long walks, sitting to watch the waves and soaking up the sun.  We were thrilled with how quiet & private the beach was -- some days we only saw 10-15 people go by all day.  

    The swing and hot tub were special touches we really enjoyed.   The extra luxuries you have added with the marble floors, beautiful granite and tile made us thing we were in a four star hotel.  

    Mark loved having another computer geek (George) to talk to.  

    Your recommendations for dinner were great -- we loved Milo's, Cafe' Coconut Cove, and Fiesta Azteca.  Thank you for your hospitality!

    What a wonderful place to help celebrate 40 years of marriage!   I'm so happy we found Melbourne Beach House + George + Juanita.  The 1'st Floor Exec Suite is gorgeous.  From the beautiful marble floors and granite counter tops to the leather furniture all of it spells luxury.  Walking out the doors to the hot tub was one of Skip's favorite evening activities.  

    Waking to the sun and siting on the beach was a treat for 2 New Englanders!  Our last day here ended perfectly with 80 degree temp. and sun all day.  We hate to leave but hope we will be lucky enough to return again very soon. 

    George and Juanita you have done a fantastic job with your beach house apartments.  Best of heath to both of you

    Melbourne Beach House:  its all about the sea, nature, and comfortable accommodations in a quite beach community.  All the necessities are nearby, but the sea life is most compelling.   Our stay was lengthy enough to include spring training games in Vierra, some golf, and time to explore areas up and down A1A.  

   We are looking forward to future visits in the special place in Florida

    We have been coming here for three years and each year has been better.  We were so fortunate to find Melbourne Beach House three years ago.

    As we told you, this unit, the Heron, was way beyond our expectations.  The view from this unit is wonderful

    Juanita,  your taste in decorating is superb.   Everything is so convenient and pleasant.  The marble floors and granite tops add so much.

    We are saddened that we cannot return next year but hope to in 2-3 years.

    While a vacation has many definition's, I believe it starts with sunshine, a sandy beach just steps away, the sound of crashing waves, solitude (including a quiet deck to read), a refreshing sunrise, elegant sunsets, nearby quality restaurants, a little bikini & bird watching, a shuttle launch and above all ..... just a bit of class.  Melbourne Beach House has it all!

    We enjoyed ourselves so much this year, that we bought a condo just up the highway in "La Costa."  Since we'll be home owners soon, I'm sure we'll be seeing each other many times in the years to come.

     A nice retreat for a grandmother.  Visited the little ones by day then sent them home in  Melbourne by night.  

    Sleeping space and kitchen are larger than most local weekly rentals. 

    Can't beat the location to chill out.

    We booked the beach house for our 20'th wedding anniversary.  What a perfect spot to celebrate a romantic get-away! 

    I had brought books but didn't read a page.  We just sat on the porch [deck] all evening even though it was dark at 6 P.M. ... we just sat and absorbed the peaceful setting. 

    We didn't have one meal out ... we could not be parted from the house.   I cooked every night and we ate on the deck.  A glass of wine or bubbly, just idyllic. 

    We will always remember this holiday. 

    We were in bed by 9:30 and up early, unheard of for us ... we were so relaxed.

    We're so glad that we found the Melbourne Beach House on the Internet.   The Beautiful clean apartment located on an endless beach is by far the best we've ever stayed for holidays.

    We saw dolphins, spiders and crabs on the beach.

     A childhood dream came true: we saw a rocket and a shuttle launch!

    If you’re looking for a charming, quaint, cozy and totally efficient place to stay – this is the place for you.  It has all the amenities of home, plus a fantastic view, and the ocean at the back door.  We so enjoyed our time here – from sun worshiping on the beach, to walks on the beach as well as to the store; it was such a relaxing atmosphere – we couldn't ask for anything better!  We definitely recommend this “home away from home” to everyone!  Thank you so much for everything.

    I have had the most amazing 5 weeks here in Melbourne, and I really could not have had a more perfect place to stay.  The ocean view is beautiful…the sound of the waves were so relaxing…and most days it was as if I had the beach to myself!

    The apartment had everything I needed…and so much more.  Thank you for opening up your home.  I only regret I cannot stay longer.

    Our kids sent us here to celebrate our 25'th wedding anniversary, and we're ... well - pleased.  We'd visited the area years ago and appreciated the laid-back nature we found here.  And though it's "filled in" in areas, we still enjoyed it.  Melbourne Beach still offers a lot of "community" and small town spirit.

    We appreciated the porch-less porch swing out front, walking the shore - even the strong "Nor-easter" that blew for several days.  We saw a different face of the ocean.  Restaurants you recommended lived up to expectations.  Fishing charter on the Indian River with Jeff Brauer of Vero was a joy.  Observed a sea-turtle making her nest one evening with lightning at sea as a background.  Overall, most enjoyable.  We hope to get back to introduce the kids to all this!

    We started our marriage with a honeymoon in Florida 30 years ago.  With some consideration invested, we decided to try it again.  The Melbourne Beach House promised what we were "NOW" looking for.  After a week our expectation of comfort, privacy and beach access were met.

    What a beautiful place on the beach!  This view is the best I have ever experienced - water from every window, lovely soft breeze, and the constant sound of ocean waves.  Melbourne Beach House, even while undergoing renovation, is perfect on the inside - well equipped, clean and comfortable.  George and Juanita were so helpful in suggesting restaurants.  It's the "perfect spot on a beach" for sure.

    Had a great time.  Caught over 80 fish, Blues, Pompano, whiting, & more off the Beach.  Vickie and I love the isolated beach and the views. Also the apartment was super comfortable (Comfortable bed by the way!)

    I think this is the perfect time of year for a fun filled week.   We had some great food at "The Friendly Toast".  We plan to be back same time next year.

    This is our second time we had our spring break at your beach home and we can truly say it is the most relaxing vacation we have all year.

    The beautiful quiet and peaceful beach, surf, sand and sun are perfect.  We love the balcony and view.  Jim caught lots of fish and we took our boat out to some of the river & Canal and watched the manatees and dolphins come right up to the boat!  A great experience.

    We are going back happy & rested. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation.

    The beach house is actually under renovation but luckily, the exterior (actually ugly) doesn't match with the interior which is perfect-nice, light in every room, with a nice exterior sun deck.   The beach is naturally beautiful, not crowded, again: perfect!

    After the renovation the beach house will look "gorgeous".  Hope rates won't increase.

    If you have a hunger for peace and quite, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you will definitely find it here in George and Juanita's beautiful Beachfront home.  The location is simply perfect.

    We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope that return in the future to once again watch the sunrise each morning over the ocean while listening to the breakers reach the shore.

    Marta and I had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived.  The beach and water is amazing.  That was our first stop.  I had never seen the ocean so it was quite breathtaking to me.  It was returning to a love & passion for her.

    Although through our downstairs neighbors warnings we love the apartment and felt right at home the minute we stepped through the door.  We had these plans to visit various restaurants, We stayed at home for the most part because of the wonderful view and romantic feel of the ocean.

    We had a great time boggy boarding in the ocean, taking walks on the beach and sitting and laying on the beach taking it all in.  We ate at a few places and loved the experiences we had at each restaurant.  Long Doggers' was fun with a really laid back atmosphere.  Bunkey's had amazing fresh and most delicate oysters.  We ate three dozen!

    We celebrated our six month anniversary at the restaurant in Crown Plaza.  It was very romantic sitting on the ocean. enjoying the food and ambiance.  

    The Thirsty Turtle was great and fun we ate appetizers and had a nice time.

    It was a great week we hated to see end.  Thank you Juanita and to Shannon as were for being such a great host and for welcoming us here.  We do plan to return some day.

    Solitude and privacy appreciated. Would like to have had a working screen door and less construction.  Although we feel the ads were a bit misconceiving,  we did enjoy our time.  We will be in contact. 

     The following from an email sent after Alfred's stay:  " ... we did make the best of the situation and would recommend anyone to stay there, especially when the renovations are done.  I did get to meet some of your friends from across the street, they speak highly of you and Juanita. One young lady did an awesome job cleaning up the walkway  from the road to the beach, she must have collected 15 to 20 bags of debris, and there was this older gentleman who enjoys fishing, he considers every day as Saturday, I gave him 6 or 7 bags of whiting fish fillets, he mentioned I should have given to you, he kept calling me Albert, he and his wife couldn't say enough good things about you . He usually wears a dark T-shirt and beige shorts with suspenders.

    You have some wonderful friends .fishing was great, golfing was great, weather was so warm again thanks ... "

    Thank you for providing a wonderful retreat, sanctuary-like place.  The accommodations are as nice or nicer than they appear on your website.

    We had a week of beautiful weather sunny and upper seventies for a high all week.  We found interesting cultural events - community theater, jazz on the deck - free at the Crown Plaza Hotel.  The wild life sanctuaries in the area are amazing, we found the beach out the front door a great place to walk. 

    Now we are headed back to Minnesota to finish the winter, but appreciate this perfect spot to experience a little bit of summer.

    Wow, what a honeymoon!  It really felt like our beach just outside!  Boogie boarding rocked!   Josh did a lot of fishing ~ caught a baby hammerhead shark! Frisbee in the surf was fun.  Lots of turtle tracks and we even saw a live mama turtle heading up the beach.  Spotted two rainbows, beautiful!  Local restaurants were great and the local ice cream stand is a must!  Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful estate.   We will miss falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean waves crashing!

    We had a wonderful and relaxing stay while here.  We enjoyed walking on the beach, finding shells, looking at turtle tracks, boogie boarding, and relaxing in the sun.  We were very fortunate to see a turtle lay her eggs one night.  We went out deep-sea fishing on the 4'th and got to see the Shuttle Discovery go up.  We loved the privacy of the beach.

    Thanks for your hospitality!  We hope to return to Melbourne Beach soon!

    Alan wasn't sure I could be happy on a beach with no people and no high rise hotels because that is all I have ever experienced.  I wasn't sure either ... but I can never go Back!  To have a beach to ourselves and the ability to sit on the couch or on the deck and absorb the sight, sound and smell of the ocean and tranquility, it was more than I could have dreamed of!

    Thank you for your generosity in sharing and trusting us with your little piece of heaven.

    We dream of the day we can return and I am saddened to leave.  (P.S. We enjoyed City Tropics Bistro & Blueberry Muffin!  And we saw proof of turtles every morning but were never fortunate to see them personally.

    We absolutely loved our stay here!  Our dreams of vacationing on an unspoiled and uncrowded beach came true.  The beautiful sunrises, the constant sound of waves crashing & the fantastic views took our stresses away.  We never dreamed of such a beautiful, secluded spot away, from all the crowds ... but still so close to restaurants, shopping & other activities!    We thoroughly enjoyed the peace of reading on the deck, as well as the potentially endless walks along the beach.

    On our morning walk we were escorted by the "infamous" beach cat ZOE, who surprisingly walked right along side us more obediently than any dog we have seen!  

    We truly enjoyed our stay here.  We cannot thank you both enough for opening your house to us.

    Melbourne Beach House!  What does one write about this vacation spot that hasn't been covered?  Let's just cover the whole package again:  sounds of the surf 24/7, a full moon overlooking the deck after dinner (with a brandy), formations of pelican's flying within arm's reach, communities of birds walking the beach with us, fantastic weather (22 out of 28 days), open windows, ocean breezes, solid sleep, first-class furnishings, total solitude, a great shower head/ water pressure, bug-free environment, bay window sunsets, a delightful and helpful host and hostess, plus location, location, location, the ultimate R&R!

     A final thought quoting James Taylor, "The secret of life is enjoying the passing of Time." (Incidentally, we've confirmed five weeks for 2007.)

    We don't know what was the best thing:  the private deck on which we had sunrise breakfast & full moonrise dinners; the long pre-dawn walks counting turtle tracks & seeing at least 4 turtles actually digging holes & laying eggs; body surfing at low tide; playing with my granddaughter when they came to visit; my son trying to teach me to surf.

    The best restaurant?  Melbourne Beach House!  Kitchen well equipped, Publix very convenient, & best ambiance I've ever experienced.  A wonderful place! We shall return

    We had a wonderful time.  The Melbourne Beach House apartment was GREAT.  It was nice & clean.  What a wonderful way to spend your birthday; the peach color roses were beautiful.  The apartment had everything we needed plus more - house slippers, beach chairs & boogie boards .

    The Beach was secluded and unspoiled.  We enjoyed walking on the beach, checking out the turtle tracks and collecting beautiful sea shells.

    The view from the balcony was awesome.  I enjoyed just sitting in the patio chairs and listening to the ocean or reading a book.  It was a very relaxing vacation and we would recommend Melbourne Beach House to our family & friends.  The white book on the coffee table was very helpful we enjoyed trying some of the restaurants.  Bonefish Willies, Smokey Bones, Bellas, Texas Roadhouse.

    Your hospitality was wonderful.  Hope to come back some day ... I was blessed on Friday & got to see a sea turtle making its way back to the ocean.

    We had to write to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your beach house. The week was so relaxing, and your place is so beautiful. We wanted to be close to the ocean, and were we ever! While walking on the beach at night we had the amazing good fortune to see a turtle come out of the water, find her way up the sand, lay her eggs, and return to the ocean. She did all this at the base of the steps. We even got pictures! That was a really moving experience for us.  A lady happened to walk by who volunteered for the Turtle Preservation Society, so she told us what we could and couldn't do.

    We could go on and on about how lovely everything was. The privacy of the beach was incredible, the water was so warm.  Melbourne Beach House is definitely a place we can't wait to return to. Juanita, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet you. Perhaps next time.

    Ah, the peaceful, unyielding flow of nature!  In my day-to-day world of computers, cell phone, pagers, and using up all my energy on worldly things; I came here to nurture my spirit & re-connect with this flow.  Melbourne Beach House has allowed me to do just that, and my vacation was a good mix of sight-seeing and re-connecting with nature.   The wildlife is great!  Turtle tracks everywhere; saw a pair mating in the surf about 3:30PM one day. Pelicans glide gracefully overhead, and shore birds wade or hurry along near water's edge selecting their "goodies",   The amenities here were great - all the comforts of home.  George & Juanita, you guys are two of the nicest people I've ever met - thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

   Brevard Zoo is a must-see.  the kayaking was fun, but HOT -- be sure to wear a hat & sunscreen (if you burn easily).  The Village of Melbourne (oldest part of town) was like stepping back in time to a quaint little town where everyone is so friendly & welcoming.  Brevard Arts & Science Museum was a bit let-down - 2 art exhibits, never saw science.

    Publix grocery store has everything & is very clean.  Shell's was "OK", but coming from South Louisiana it's hard to find a seafood restaurant  that I would rave over (LOL!)  Grill's in Port Canaveral was a lot better (and farther & more $).
 
    Forgot to mention that sea shell hunting here on the beach is pretty good.  I also enjoyed seeing the array of plant life that flourishes in this area.  White Bird of Paradise does not reach maturity back home (bloom), but here they are common..  Thanks again George & Juanita for helping to make this a vacation to remember.  Also Cocoa has some great little shops in its "village" area just off 520, and stop at the Shake Shop for a treat (right here on A1A just north of here across the street).

    I can honestly say this was my home away form home.  You have quite a fabulous place here and I want to thank you for allowing others to experience the beauty and serenity which surrounds it.  The view and coastal sounds of the waves allowed me to let go of the fast pace of the city, which I left behind.  I not only saw where the turtles had been, but I saw two.  I collected many shells and some neat rocks as well.  I enjoyed many of the restaurants, but the most fun for me was going to Publix grocery store.  They have so much selection and the nicest people.  I know it sounds crazy but some of the simplest things in life can be fun.  I have no complaints and really hate this is my last day.  It was truly a pleasure meeting both of you.  I wish you both well and hope to be able to return again one day to once again enjoy a piece of paradise,

    Excellent1  Fine weather, comfortable and attractive accommodations ... truly, an enjoyable vacation.

    Never did actually see a turtle, but saw where a lot of them had been.

     We can definitely recommend Mario's, a couple of miles North, where A1A takes a sharp little eastward jog.  Also, if anyone runs short of reading matter for the beach, the Brevard public library (almost the same location) sells their used books for $1 (hardbound) and  $0.50 (paperbacks).

    All in all, a highly enjoyable place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.

    A second, wonderful year -- Thank you.  Although the weather was not as cooperative, the stay here was -- once again -- peaceful and relaxing.  The rainy days allowed us to explore the surrounding areas and to shop.  We discovered Ross Stores -- something we do not have in New England.

    But, our favorite times were spent sitting on the beach, watching the birds and dolphins and playing in the waves.  I love falling asleep and waking to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.  These special times spent vacationing with my daughter will stay with both of us for many years.  Thank you again for providing this perfect beach house and for sharing your piece of heaven.

    This was a rare opportunity to enjoy the unspoiled Atlantic shoreline. 

    My sister and brother-in-law had stayed in the lower apartment last year, and have also spent a month there this year.  We've been here for their last week. 

    We all bought "boogie boards" and had great fun playing in the ocean!  Jim and I visited Pelican Island wildlife refuge, the McLarty Treasure Museum (both South of here on A1A), and the Melbourne Art Fair.  They were all excellent ways to spend time.

    Thank you, George and Juanita, for providing all the comforts of home!  We were thrilled to watch the launch of the last Titan Rocket from our deck last night.  What a Perfect view!

    We have been coming to the area for eight years.  This was our first time at the Melbourne Bach House.  We were forced to seek alternate accommodations when our usual holiday home was seriously damaged by Frances and Jeanne.  We were a little nervous about trying somewhere new as our expectations are very high.  The Melbourne Beach House did not disappoint us in any way and exceeded many of our expectations.

    We will recommend Melbourne Beach House to our friends.

    This was our second visit to your private paradise and just as on our first visit, we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  The quiet beach walks, sitting on the swing watching the dolphins play, the sunrises over the ocean, it's all been spectacular.  And then to top it  all off we again got to watch a rocket launch from the cape.

    We enjoyed the Beach House very much.   Since we had been coming to the area for many years, we were saddened with the destruction the hurricanes of '04 had caused.   Hopefully it will not happen again! 

    We thought that the wildlife was awesome.  The beach was great.  It's nice to have an uncrowded, unspoiled beach.  The apartment was clean and well kept.  We hope to be back next year.  Thanks for the experience

    Your place has brought back a lost paradise to us.  We always rented a little, little cottage in Crystal Cove in Southern California when we lived out West. The State took it over for a revolving series of reasons -- it was a pork barrel in the end.

    What a wonderful place to relax & enjoy the beach life!  Spectacular sunrises and uncrowded beaches; somewhat cool (60 - 74) but pleasant when compared to New England. 
    Enjoyed 2 spring training games at Dogertown in Vero Beach.  Took a boat tour of the Indian River Lagoon near Sebastian State Park - very informative guide.

     We had a great time staying in the apartment.  You are excellent hosts & the accommodations were just right.

     It is hard to believe that in less than 24 hrs. we will be going from 78 degrees to 28 degrees, Ugh!

     Speaking of weather, when we come back next year could you make sure we have another 12 consecutive days of sun & 75-85 degree temps?!!

     The quiet and privacy of this beautiful spot were very important to us.  The view is spectacular and the apartment comfortable for our needs.  Having our daughter and her family down the road and so many friends and family members close by prevented our spending as much time here and we were disappointed that the cold weather prevented our using the beach more.   Just like RI --  the weather here also can't be predicted!  We look forward to staying here again as we visit 1-2 times a year.

       We had the opportunity to be the first couple to visit Melbourne Beach House since the Hurricane.  Thanks Juanita and George for getting the upstairs apt. ready by the day of our arrival.  The weather was cold and raining, skies were overcast and dark, but as the week wore on the sun came out and we did get onto the beach.  The white notebook was helpful and we liked your suggestions for both food and activities.  Now we go home to a real winter in Colorado.  Capt. Tony DeMao of Palm Bay is an excellent inshore fishing guide and the space center was great. Thanks for the comforts.

We just arrived “Hooray”.  What a view1  Turtle tracks everywhere.  Somehow they managed to make five nests right in front of the house without us seeing them.  Manatees were everywhere we went, we must have seen over a dozen. Vern and I had a very relaxing week here at Melbourne Beach House.  The weather was perfect and the water was so clean and clear.  The fishing – well as George says, “that’s why they call it fishing.”  I also have to say that we both felt very safe in your home.  Melbourne Beach is a wonder town and hope to return one day.

I especially loved waking up in the morning and counting all the new turtle nests you could see from the balcony.

For Eateries: BAZARRO – best pizza (white especially)
          SMOKEY BONES – baby back ribs, get the full rack
           CAFÉ COCONUT COVE – good German food

I would like to make two suggestions if I may.  How about a few more towels in the bathroom and a scatter rug by the door.

Randy and I had a wonderful stay here at Melbourne Beach House.  The house and beach far exceeded our expectations, and we were amazed at how comfortable and “at home” we felt.  Randy had a good time even though he as bitten by a crab! Ouch!

We really enjoyed our stay here.  It was the most relaxing vacation both Celia and I have ever been on together.  The privacy of the beach seemed to bring wild life from all over; turtles both mama and babies, all the different birds, sting rays jumping out of the water, porpoises both adults and little one passing by every morning.  Just incredible!

        Yearly Mother/Daughter Retreat --

        My daughter & I come to FL each May -- mainly to get away -rest- relax and celebrate Tara's birthday.  Each year we stay in another area of Florida & this has been our favorite trip.  The cottage is very home like & the sound of the waves day & night is so relaxing.  We did miss the turtles, but found beautiful star-filled nights and watched the pelicans & blue heron fish by day made up for not seeing turtles!

        Melbourne Beach House is truly a magnificent piece of Paradise.  I cannot imagine a more spectacular view anywhere else.  The apartment is adorable and cozy.  The constant sound of the ocean's roar is so relaxing.  The three bottle nose dolphins "wave-jumping" at 8:00 in the morning was an awesome sight!  I hope to come back here again -- soon.  We wish you a happy and healthy New Year.
